Are you losing sleep over what to name your health coaching business? Maybe you’ve heard it’s best to use your own name. Or that it’s better to focus on what you specialize in. Or you just need something attention-grabbing that’s not already taken.
While all of these options are totally viable and a great place to start, there are some things you need to know before you make it official. For instance:
- Don’t pick a name that limits how your business might evolve
- Be sure your name is easy to remember and spell
- Avoid choosing a name that’s being used by another health professional
- Make sure you’re comfortable with the name, since you’ll be saying it over and over again
In the Primal Health Coach Institute course, we walk you through the process early on. Within the first month of enrollment, our students are brainstorming the perfect name for their health coaching business (which is why so many of our grads have awesome business names)!
That said, choosing a name is one of those building-business tasks that can drive you crazy. But it doesn’t have to! In today’s post, we’ll be sharing 149 catchy health coaching business names. And if you missed our previous catchy names posts, you can read them here and here.
Keep in mind that these are all existing business names, so use this list (and the ones in the links above) as inspiration to come up with your own. Looking for even more ideas? Check out this post for additional tips on how to name your health coaching business.
Your Own Name
Using your own name gives you the most flexibility. That’s because it doesn’t impact anything if your niche changes, plus your clients won’t have to remember your name and your business name, and there’s a pretty good chance that no one else has it (or at least uses it exactly like you do). If your name is hard to spell, consider using just your first name, a nickname, or your initials. See how other health coaches are using their names in their businesses:

Summary
Don’t let choosing a name for your health coaching business stress you out. As long as it’s easy to spell and remember, isn’t already taken by another health professional, allows your coaching business to evolve if necessary, and you’re comfortable seeing it and saying it everywhere, you’ll be in a good place.
If you haven’t already, start brainstorming your own name using these categories:
- Your own name
- What’s unique about you
- The direct benefit to your clients
- Where your practice is located
- Whether you’re a Primal Health Coach
