13 More Inspiring Health Coaching Websites

Owning a website for your health coaching business is more than just a nice thing to have—it’s a necessity. It’s where future clients will find you, how they’ll connect with you, and where you’ll share your unique approach to health coaching through your content, your services, and your story.

Last year, we showed you 13 health coaching websites to inspire you. Today, we’re back for round 2 with 13 more inspiring health coaching websites. Whether you’re building yours for the first time or giving your current one a makeover, there are certain elements you’ll definitely want to have—and some you’ll want to avoid. For example…

DO: Include a lead magnet or free gift
DON’T: Make the lead magnet too small or place it below the fold

DO: Have a clear call-to-action
DON’T: Ramble on about your programs with no clear emphasis on the next step

DO: Showcase your personality
DON’T: Fill your site with technical jargon

Of course, these are just a few of the DOs and DON’Ts that can impact your website. For more inspiration, let’s see how these successful health coaches are doing it.

1. eat.simple

If you’ve ever caught one of Erin Power’s webinars for the Primal Health Coach Institute, you know she knows what she’s talking about. Erin advocates for having a clear, singular message on your website, and selling a product versus selling random services. This is exactly what she does with her 8 Weeks to Effortless program. Her home page also features a well-defined call-to-action button that lives above the fold, making it easy for her clients to get in touch with her and check her out for free.

More DOs that make eat.simple stand out:

  • An opt-in and freebie that tie into her brand messaging (and client’s pain points)
  • Simple navigation and clean home page layout
  • An inspiring and approachable photo of Erin, followed by her qualifications

2. Hannah Markow

Hannah doesn’t just tell her clients that she understands their challenges—she shows them. An introductory video on her home page takes you inside Hannah’s unique approach to health and wellness, giving you an authentic look at her personal struggles, as well as what it’s really like to work with her. She also talks like her clients talk (which is great for SEO purposes), listing symptoms such as being “tired all the time” and “constant bloating” as symptoms she can help with.

More DOs that make Hannah Markow stand out:

  • Her website is desktop and mobile-friendly
  • She skips the clinical and technical jargon
  • Simple navigation makes it easy to find your way around the site

3. Re-Align

When I clicked through to Re-Align’s home page, it was like a breath of fresh air. Which is what I’d guess founder Richard Ayling was hoping to get across, since his health coaching business helps people become more aligned with their purpose. The website features a singular, peaceful image with a clear, niche-driven headline and intro copy. And a super easy way to learn more. Richard uses a scroll-focused design, so you can literally scroll down the page to read his story, see what kind of coaching he offers, and find out what workshops he’ll be hosting next.

More DOs that make Re-Align stand out:

  • It’s not overloaded with information about his programs
  • Real, authentic photos of Richard
  • Testimonials on the home page add social proof

4. Gymlessly Fit

It’s a simple design, yet the rotating photos of Primal Health Coach Jasmine Cabrera doing planks outside her apartment door and using a coffee table as a bench, like a real person, are nothing short of perfect. Jasmine’s business is targeted towards postpartum moms who want to lift weights without having to go to the gym. And as a newer mom herself, she clearly she understands her audience. Jasmine bashes the “get your pre-baby body back” mentality, telling new moms that getting strong postpartum means listening to your body, not doing crunches until you pass out.

More DOs that make Gymlessly Fit stand out:

  • Sleep-deprived moms will appreciate the single call-to-action on the home page
  • Jasmine’s personality comes through in all of her content
  • She’s not trying to be all things to all people—Jasmine knows her niche!

5. Fran Dargaville Nutrition & Yoga

Right off the bat, you get a sense of Fran’s down-to-earth personality. Her home page headline tells you that she loves real food, but she loves coconut flat whites too (we like her already). She also offers a free 20-page e-book within seconds of landing on her site to get clients into her email funnel, and has it as a constant element at the top of the page. Plus, she’s got a chat box where you can message with Fran in real time, when she’s online of course.

More DOs that make Fran Dargaville stand out:

  • She’s smart with SEO, using words and phrases that make her searchable
  • Everything you need to get started is above the fold, not buried somewhere further down the page
  • Looks as good on mobile devices as it does on a desktop

6. Primally Empowered

Monica Lambert is winning potential clients over as soon as they land on her home page. Great photo? Check. Pop-up lead magnet with a freebie that addresses pain points? Check. Empowering headline? Check. Monica knows that her website is her chance to connect with people on a personal level. And she’s not afraid to share photos and stories that show what makes her the person, and the Primal Health Coach, she truly is.

More DOs that make Primally Empowered stand out:

  • A clean, simple design above the fold
  • Full testimonials at the bottom of the page for social proof
  • A Mark Sisson quote about Primal living doesn’t hurt either

7. Jess Baumgardner

Jess Baumgardner understands the concept of less is more. On her home page, she opts for a layout that focuses on imagery over words. Honestly, it’s a refreshing change from some of the other health coaching sites I’ve seen that are jam-packed with way too much information. There are two ways to get around the site—via the top navigation, or by clicking through on the images. Plus, when you hover on the images on the home page, you can save it to your Pinterest board, too.

More DOs that make Jess Baumgardner stand out:

  • Her website is responsive, meaning it looks great on any device
  • Clean, modern layout that’s consistent with her brand
  • Photos of Jess give you a sense of the woman behind the coaching

8. Holly Higgins

We featured Holly in our 10 Influential Health Coaches to Follow blog post a few months ago for the work she’s doing in the mental health space. But that’s not the only reason we love her. Holly’s website is a great example of how to be real, sharing content about her personal struggles with depression and anxiety—and how she healed herself with nutritional therapy. Like a lot of the other health coaches on our list, Holly knows what her audience is going through. And instead of bombarding them with clinical-sounding terminology, she uses conversational anecdotes that makes her relatable, like talking about needing a forklift to get out of bed.

More DOs that make Holly Higgins stand out:

  • Her home page is simple with a clear call-to-action above the fold
  • A free quiz gets potential clients onto her email list so she can continue to build a relationship with them
  • Real, authentic photos of Holly (including before and after pics)

9. Detoxinista

Fast food junkie turned Certified Nutritionist Consultant, Megan Gilmore, is another great example of a health coach understanding her niche. While some of the other coaches on our list use a single, attention-getting image and headline, Megan’s website Detoxinista features artfully laid out images of her healthy recipes with captions that categorize them into buckets like paleo, dairy-free and dessert. While she doesn’t use an opt-in to collect email addresses, she has plenty of ways to keep her audience coming back for more, including cookbooks, free recipes, and tips on meal planning.

More DOs that make Detoxinista stand out:

  • A clean home page layout and simple navigation
  • Gorgeous photos of her recipes
  • Images that allow for easy click-through

10. Paige Schmidt

Paige’s home page draws you in with an eye-catching color palette, easy-to-read fonts, and a headline that screams “I understand your pain points.” Even if you don’t scroll down the page, everything you need to know is above the fold, including a lead magnet with a free guide and coaching emails, as well as a recent blog post entry. Continually updating your website (like adding new blog posts or recipes) is a smart way to keep it relevant and ensure it stays toward the top of your future clients’ search engine results.

More DOs that make Paige Schmidt stand out:

  • Streamlined social media icons make it easy to connect with Paige
  • Personalized photos let clients put a face with the name
  • With a younger niche, it’s important that her site works well on mobile devices (which it does)

11. Primal Health

I don’t speak (or read) Swedish, but there’s no mistaking what kind of coaching the Primal Health duo of Daniel and Viktor Gustafsson offer. At first I was surprised at the unscrollability of the home page, but after looking at dozens of overpopulated home pages, this site’s simplicity really stood out. The navigation is simple, too, with just the right amount of options and a consistent header image on every page.

More DOs that make Primal Health stand out:

  • Aesthetics get an A+ with a clean layout and bold images
  • The important stuff is above the fold
  • They take a deeper dive into their programs on the right pages

12. Elissa Goodman

Your website basically has less than 15 seconds to grab someone’s attention (and make them stick around). Holistic nutritionist Elissa Goodman easily does that in a fraction of the time. She has a lot of great information to share, but she doesn’t overload her home page with content. Instead it’s delivered in clean, colorful, and easy-to-digest blocks that click through to her other pages.

More DOs that make Elissa Goodman stand out:

  • A lead magnet pops up within a few sections to capture email addresses
  • Continually updated blog posts boost SEO rankings
  • Logos of her media partners to add social proof

13. Health Coach Kait

This Primal Health Coach is all about primal living, and her website is proof of that. It quickly conveys who Kait is talking to (people interested in Keto), what Kait offers as a health coach (training your body to burn fat for fuel), and what potential clients will get from working with her (getting out of the vicious cycle of being a sugar burner). Her navigation is clearly organized, too, so new clients can find what they’re looking for quickly, whether it’s her freebies and reading list or 1:1 coaching appointments.

More DOs that make Health Coach Kait stand out:

  • A single call-to-action button above the fold
  • Simple home page layout
  • She’s not trying to be all things to all people—Kait knows her niche

Conclusion

You don’t have to be an expert at web design or know how to code to make a share-worthy site for your health coaching practice. Just follow a few of these DOs, avoid most of the DON’Ts, and let your personality shine through without trying to fit every detail about who you are and what you offer on your home page. Who knows? Maybe your health coaching website will make it onto our list next time around!
