Reena Vokoun is the founder and CEO of Passion Fit, and an expert on consumer and corporate wellness. She provides content on fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, and work-life balance to individuals, companies, non-profits, schools, universities and the media. Reena is also a writer, TEDx speaker and media spokesperson.
The mission of her company is to empower women to flourish both personally and professionally through wellness. In this episode Reena shares her insights into starting and growing a successful health and wellness business, and how she made the leap from working at Google to being an entrepreneur and health coach (hint: she wasn’t an overnight success).
She also explains how she determined what problem she was going to solve for her clients, why she focuses on body function and not weight loss, and how she helps overworked and overextended women. She also gives us a deep look into group coaching versus one-on-one which is an area many of us struggle with.
Finally, Reena gives us all a great pep talk, explaining that you have to build your own confidence – don’t wait for it to come to you.
As always, we love learning from successful peers in our industry, and we think you will too. Please Enjoy.
